    Every three months, the National Research Corporation (NRC), an independent research group, conducts an extensive patient satisfaction survey at all HEALTHSOUTH facilities throughout the United States.
     
    In the most recent quarterly survey of Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital:
     
    • More than 95 percent of patients surveyed who had received services at Fairlawn said they would recommend the facility to friends or family.
       
    • Fairlawn exceeded national averages in all areas assessed by NRC, including:

        Pain Management
        Food/Facility
        Admission/Registration

    JCAHO Survey Results
    Fairlawn scored 97% in its recent survey by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Facilities (JCAHO). The Joint Commission evaluates and accredits nearly 17,000 healthcare organizations and programs in the U.S., including 9,000 hospitals.
     
    Medical Director Recognized for Patient Satisfaction
    Dr. Peter Bagley, Fairlawn's Medical Director, was recently recognized by HealthSouth Corporation for excellence in patient satisfaction. Dr. Bagley was specifically recognized as a strong advocate for patient-physician communication.
