Guest Players Pitch In At Wheelchair Basketball Game

On May 5th, WTAG's news and program directors, Hank Stoltz and George Brown, as well as Worcester news Tonight's sports reporter, Kevin Shea, will do their best to help Fairlawn wheel its way to victory in the hospital's annual wheelchair basketball game.

The competition, which begins at 6:30 in the Bancroft School gym (Shore Drive, Worcester), will be the Fairlawn crew's eighth attempt to beat the Bay State Wheelers, a local team of athletes with disabilities. Tickets - $5 for adults and $3 for students and children - can be purchased at the door or by calling 508-791-6351Ext. 582.

All proceeds will benefit the Wheelers, which provides free athletic and recreational activities for people with disabilities.
