A visit from Lieutenant Governor Timothy P. Murray kicked off Fairlawn’s celebration of National Rehabilitation Week.

	Lieutenant Governor Murray thanked the hospital staff for their dedication to the people of Central Massachusetts and then presented a proclamation from Governor Duval Patrick to Fairlawn’s CEO, Dave Richer. The following night, at Worcester’s City Council Meeting, Fairlawn received a similar expression of appreciation from Mayor Konstantina Lukes.

The week’s events also included a staff appreciation cookout at which the hospital presented its annual Physician, Clinician, and Employee of the Year Awards. Fairlawn’s management team also showed their appreciation to staff with a free car wash.
