Fairlawn Celebrates National Rehab Week Fairlawn celebrated National Rehab Week with a number of fun and informative events for patients, staff and the community. Established in 1976, National Rehab Week raises awareness about the abilities of people with disabilities, the role rehabilitation plays in their lives, and the dedication of rehabilitation professionals. Fairlawn Working Toward Disease-Specific Certification in Brain Injury Fairlawn is currently working toward Disease-Specific Certification in Brain Injury Rehabilitation from The Joint Commission (TJC).   Stroke Support Group Meets Monthly Fairlawn now hosts a Stroke Support Group on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The group, open to stroke survivors, their families, and members of the community, meets in the first floor cafeteria.
