    Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program
     
    Fairlawn's Brain Injury Program, the only one in Central Massachusetts accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, provides comprehensive acute inpatient and outpatient services to patients with traumatic and non-traumatic brain injuries.
     
    Goals
    This program provides patients/families with the skills they need to:
    • Progress from hospital to home, work, or school
    • Adjust to changes caused by their injury
    • Resume an active social life

     
    Program Components
    A specialized interdisciplinary team provides treatment focusing on structure, consistency, and reality orientation. The program also emphasizes patient/family education and support.
