Fairlawn Nurses Earn Certified Registered Rehabilitation Nurse (CRRN®) Designation

Rehabilitation Nurses 2011

Six members of Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital’s nursing staff recently earned their certification as registered rehabilitation nurses (CRRN®s). In addition to passing a national certification exam, CRRN’s must be registered nurses who have more than two years of experience working in the rehabilitation field.

Congratulations to (pictured left to right) Florence Oppong, Kathy Sherman, Kelly Madore, Linda Ward, Nancy Mungai (not pictured) and Euphrasia Wright (not pictured).

Having the most knowledgeable and skilled nursing staff available is a priority at Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital. In fact, 42 percent of our nursing staff holds the CRRN designation.

Becoming a Patient

Our hospital provides care for those who are ready to be discharged from a hospital but not ready to return home. Treatment and care is designed to bridge the gap between hospital and home. Anyone who is limited functionally from an injury or illness can benefit from rehabilitation.
