Diversity UNITE

We believe that our differences are our strengths.  In order to provide a higher level of rehabilitative care, our employees must appreciate and understand the diversity of our patients in the communities we serve. We seek to employ talented individuals across diverse backgrounds to ensure we realize our mission of being the inpatient rehabilitation provider of choice in every community we serve.

We provide opportunities for our employees’ growth and development and encourage their participation in an open and inclusive culture.  In addition, we respect our patients, physicians, shareholders, business partners and vendors, recognizing the valuable role each of them plays in our business and striving to communicate with them openly and honestly.

Celebrating Our Differences

Our monthly employee newsletter, The Voice, includes a section called “Postcards from the Edge,” allowing our staff members who have traveled to other countries to share their experiences through photos and text. In addition to stories from staff who have returned to their native countries for visits with family and friends, we include ones from American-born employees who have traveled to areas outside the United States. Our intent is to raise awareness of and appreciation for different cultures as well as the diversity of our staff, patients and their families.
